I have lurked long enough! It is finally time to join in on the online conversations that I have been reading for years. Right now I feel like a first grader in a college calculus class. I keep watching and re-watching video after video on how to; blog, code, re-size an image, create, crop. The list goes on and on. I'm sure I will make plenty of mistakes in this process, I will ask for forgiveness now for all of my internet faux pas before I even make them.
My purpose in blogging is very simple, I want to connect with other talented and creative people that love teaching as much as I do. I work at a wonderful school district but we are on the small side and sometimes I feel alone when it comes to getting ideas about my content. I have found some of the best resources and ideas from reading other teachers blogs. Now I am ready to join in the conversation and add my own ideas to the mix instead of just reading. Also, as for most teachers that blog, I think this is a great way to reflect on lessons and practices that we do in our room for the future. And well lets face it, the older I get the harder it is to remember what worked well last year and what didn't.
Here's hopin' I can get the hang of this. Any friendly advice would be appreciated.
